I studied a bit of HSK4 grammar, and listened to and read some stories on The Chairman’s Bao.
I studied HSK 4 grammar. I did a few exercises and got some wrong. I need to go over the grammar points again.
I studied sentence structure and grammar for HSK4. I still have a lot of work to do!
I listened to and read two stories on The Chairman’s Bao.
I studied some grammar and sentence structure from my HSK4 textbook.
I studied sentence structure for HSK4 and listened to and read a news story on The Chairman’s Bao. I need to work on sentence structure. I only got about half of the answers right.

I wasn’t going to study Chinese until my cosmetics exam was over, but I couldn’t wait! I did 30 minutes reading and listening on The Chairman’s Bao. It felt good to be back!
I had my test yesterday. I’m glad it’s over! Now I can go back to studying French and for the Japanese cosmetics exam in November. (I’m having a day off today though.)
The test was more difficult than the practice tests I had done, and I was at the back sitting under a noisy ventilator, so I’m not sure how well I did on the listening section. Some of it was guesswork. The reading section was fine, and the writing section not so bad. Did I pass? I’ll find out in mid-October.
Anyway, it motivated me to try for HSK4 in April, and to continue on my language journey.
I spent an hour on The Chairman’s Bao, listened to the HSK3 Standard Course CD for 30 minutes, and did 20 pages of characters. Only 2 days left until my exam!
