Hello, and welcome to my language blog! I’m Heather, a Japanese – English translator, the co-founder of I Talk You Talk Press, a writer of graded readers for learners of English, and a passionate language learner. I have been living in Japan since 2000.

One of my ambitions is to become a polyglot. I aim to master ten languages in the next ten years (starting in 2020). Out of the ten languages, I already speak two (English and Japanese), so I (only!) have eight to learn. I started this blog to document my language journey.
