29th April 2021 – French output
Je suis anglaise, mais j’habite à japon. J’habite ici depuis 2000. J’habite à la campagne. Ma ville est très jolie. Il y a un chateau et un grand lac. Les maisons sont très traditionelles. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de magasins. Quand je veux faire du shopping je vais à Hiroshima. Il faut trois heures pour y arriver.
Language output
I have realised that I am at the stage where I need language output. Just inputting grammar and vocabulary won’t make it stick. I need output. I’m going to join italki and start lessons, but first (because I’m a bit busy at the moment), I’m going to start posting in French and Chinese on here. Kind of like a blog, or random notes, using grammar and vocabulary that I have learnt.

I read a few more pages from my cosmetics exam textbook. There is so much to remember….
28th April 2021 – French
I did some level 3 vocabulary exercises, and 30 minutes of listening and reading using my Barron’s Mastering French Vocabulary book. It contains 13,000 words and has 10 hours of audio. I guess if I do 30 minutes every day, in 20 days I will have encountered 13,000 French words at least once. So, that’s what I’m going to do! I also copied out some future tenses of verbs from memory. I also finished unit 1 of the FSI course.
28th April 2021 – Chinese
I did a unit from my Read Aloud book and copied out example sentences from my HSK 1-4 vocabulary book. I must get back onto the grammar for HSK 4. I’ve been neglecting it a bit lately. I also finished the numbers section of the FSI course.
