I got a lot done today. I did an hour on my cosmetics exam question book, and read my pharmacology book for about 3 hours. I also made progress on the Keiichiro Hirano novel.

12th February 2021 – Chinese
I did vocabulary from my level 4 textbook. I was that shocked at getting such a low score on the exercises, that I have decided I’m not moving on until I have mastered all 480 words. I know most of the words, it’s the tones that’s that problem. I don’t know them. Which means I probably sound like I’m talking gibberish when I speak.
12th February 2021 – French
I studied the “y” pronoun today. It has always been a kind of mystery to me, but that has been cleared up now. I’m still unsure of word order in past and negative sentences though. More practice needed! I only had 30 minutes so I just did exercises from my textbook. More tomorrow!
