I spent about an hour studying for the beauty-related pharmacology exam. I really want to read another detective novel, but I have so many tests coming up, I don’t have time!

24th January 2021 – Japanese Update
I have been doing a lot of study almost every day. I’m working towards three cosmetics exams and three pharmacology exams. I hope to pass them all this year, so I am prioritizing them over French and Chinese. There just aren’t enough hours in the day!
24th January 2021 – Chinese Update
I haven’t been doing so much lately. I’ve been focussing on my pharmacology and cosmetics exams. I have been listening to a Chinese CD in the car more or less every day though, so it is not all bad!
24th January 2021 – French Update
I haven’t been doing much French study lately. I’ve been focussing on my pharmacology and cosmetics exams which are coming up this year, and of course, working. Because there is no pressing need to pass the French exam, I haven’t been prioritizing it. Hoping to get back on it when work calms down though.
9th January 2021 – Japanese
I studied my cosmetics exam textbook for a few hours.
9th January 2021 – Chinese
I did vocabulary listening today. One of the sections of the level 4 exam tests knowledge of tones, so I focussed on that. I also did some listening using my chants book.
9th January 2021 – French
I did some more work on pronouns today. It suddenly got difficult – there were translation exercises which I made a mess of. I then did some listening using my chants book. I did about 2 hours study in total.
6th January 2021 – Japanese
I’ve been studying for the pharmacology exam most days. I finished one of the textbooks of medical terminology today. I’ll need to go over it a few times I think. I’m reading a novel in English at the moment, so I haven’t been doing any Japanese extensive reading lately. When I’ve finished the novel, I’m going to spend that reading time on the 1st grade of the cosmetics exam I’m taking in May.
6th January 2021 – Chinese
Today was my first study session of the year. I studies some grammar points, mainly prepositions, and then did a test on the points. I got 19 out of 20 right, which I was pleased about. I also listened to my chants vocabulary book in my car. I need to work on my listening more.
6th January 2021 – French
My first study session of the year. I did a chapter on pronouns from my pronoun and preposition textbook. I’m glad I bought it, it is clearing up a lot of confusion! I also listened to a list of verbs and their conjugations in my chants vocabulary book.
