I continued with Duolingo and my level 4 French exam text. I’ve completed all of the text except for the listening sections, which I’m going to do in the next few days.
I have been neglecting my Chinese study. I’ve still been learning five new words a day, but I really need to get back onto my HSK study.
I did around half an hour on Duolingo on both days, and read two units of my level 4 exam book. I’m studying word order and how to give opinions.
I haven’t been doing much Chinese lately. I’ve been concentrating on French. I am, however, keeping up with learning five words a day for HSK4. Well, I’m writing them down – I’ll need more exposure to them for them to stick! Must get back to the textbook soon.
I did a lot today – 1 hour of Duolingo and 1 hour reading about verb forms in my level 4 exam textbook. It was the first time for me to come across gerunds and the future tense, so more practice will be required!
I had another long period of not studying, but managed to do some French today. I did 30 minutes of Duolingo and then read my level 4 exam book for an hour. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep it up!
I read my HSK book for 45 minutes. I’m studying adverbs and their place in sentences. I also did my 5 words a day.
I did 30 minutes of Duolingo. I’ve moved on to the routine topic which features reflexive verbs.
I did my five words of the day and then read my HSK 4 grammar book for around 45 minutes. Not much sunk in….
I did 30 minutes of Duolingo. The topic I’m studying at the moment is directions. I should be able to move onto a new topic tomorrow.
I started my “5 words a day” today. I’m going to study 5 words from my HSK vocabulary text book every day, with one day off a week to review. I read my HSK level 4 grammar book for about 45 minutes. Not sure how much sunk in though. I’ll have to go through it a few times I think.
