20th May 2020 – Chinese

I didn’t feel like doing any vocabulary today, I felt like doing some Duolingo, so that’s what I did! I have already completed the Chinese course on Duolingo, so I just practiced restoring the things I learnt. It was good to review the basics. I need to review more, so I might do this for a few more days.

Total study time: Duolingo: 30 minutes

19th May 2020 – French

I started a new grammar topic today – the imperfect. I don’t know the difference in usage between the imperfect and the passe compose, but I guess that will come with practice. Before that, I need to get the verb endings right. I only got about 50% of the questions in the exercises right. It is proof that I haven’t really learnt the verbs properly.

I then copied out five pages of my test vocabulary book.

Total study time: 1 hour – Grammar: 45 minutes, vocabulary: 15 minutes
