I went back to my grammar book and did negative and the verbs boire, ecrire, suivre, vivre, lire, dire, courir and mourir. I’m moving at a slow pace, so I’m finding it easy to understand. I then copied out 5 pages of my test vocabulary dictionary. I also did 30 minutes of Duolingo.

I did units 10 and 11 from my Read Aloud Chinese book. The sentences and vocabulary are getting harder. I think they are beyond level 3 on the HSK, so I thought, if I’m going to learn advanced vocab and grammar, why not get some HSK level 4 books? I also have another reason – there is a chance my test in June will be cancelled, so now that I am getting more or less 100% on the reading section and close to 100% on the listening section of the practice tests, I wondered about aiming for level 4 instead.
I still need to review level 3 grammar and vocab though, so I finished my study session by quizzing myself on some vocab.
