The cosmetics license exam and skincare exam have been cancelled, so I started reading a novel instead of going back over my textbook. The cosmetics exam will be held in November, so I will start to study for it again later in the year. In the meantime, I’m going to read for relaxation.
I’m reading the third book in a series by Okuda Hideo. The series is about a psychiatrist and his patients. This one is called Cho-cho Sekyo – town mayor election.

I did a lot of study yesterday, but didn’t do so much today. I just did 30 minutes on Duolingo and copied five pages of my test vocabulary book. I’ll get back on the grammar tomorrow.

I did unit 9 from my Read Aloud Chinese textbook. I listened to the sentences and vocabulary a few times and then did shadowing. I then went back to unit 1 and did shadowing from units 1 – 9. It is actually quite time-consuming, so I don’t think I’ll be able to do more than one unit a day from now on, but the repetition is helping the language stick.
