9th April 2020 – French

I did quite a lot today. I started with Duolingo, and then did some grammar. I did disjunctive pronouns again, and some translation, then studies the irregular verbs aller, avoir, etre, and faire. I already knew these verbs, but it was good to practice using them and to learn the expressions in which they are used.

I then copied out 6 pages from my test vocabulary book, and read a few passages from Easy French Reader.

Total study time: 1 hour 30 minutes – Duolingo: 30 minutes, grammar: 30 minutes, vocabulary: 15 minutes, reading: 15 minutes

9th April 2020 – Chinese

I focused on my French today, so I just did some listening. I used two books – Read Aloud Chinese and Mimi ga Yorokobu. I didn’t stop to go over the meaning of the words, I just let the CD run and read along with the speakers. I’ll go through them again more slowly and check the meaning as I go tomorrow.

Total study time: Listening: 30 minutes
