8th April 2020 – French

I did quite a lot today. I did transitive and intransitive verbs, and disjunctive pronouns. I had studied these before, but now that I looked over them for a second time, I’ve got them to stick.

I copied out 5 pages of my test vocabulary dictionary and read a few passages from Easy French Reader. I didn’t use the audio this time. I just read it to see how much I could understand. I understood about 95% of it, so I was quite pleased.

It was announced that my test might be cancelled due to coronavirus. To be honest, I don’t think I’m ready to take the test anyway. I haven’t even started on the test books. I’m still going through the basics. Even if it isn’t cancelled, I might delay it anyway.

Total study time: 1 hour – Grammar: 30 minutes, vocabulary: 15 minutes, reading: 15 minutes

8th April 2020 – Chinese

I did the reading and writing section of the first test from the 2018 practice test textbook. I got 100%. It was my second time to do the test, so maybe that had something to do with it, but I was quite pleased.

However, there is a chance that my test will be cancelled due to coronavirus. If it is cancelled, I guess I will just have more time to study. Even though I got 100%, there were some words I didn’t know. I can’t relax yet!

Total study time: 1 hour – Practice test: 1 hour
