5th April 2020 – French

I used my French Verb Review and Practice book today. I just did questions and answers using “depuis”. I want what I study to stick, so I’m taking it slowly. I also reviewed the verbs listed in the book, but I haven’t memorized most of them.

I then copied out five pages from my test vocabulary dictionary. I think I’m going to be fine with the vocab on the test, but the issue is the grammar. I have a textbook for level 3 (the level I’m planning on taking in June), and it has past and future tense questions in it. These were the ones I got stuck on in my grammar book. I’ve been putting off using my level 3 textbook because it seems to difficult. Maybe that’s an indication that I should wait and take the test later in the year.

Total study time: 40 minutes – Grammar: 20 minutes, vocabulary: 20 minutes

5th April 2020 – Chinese

I had my Chinese lesson today, so I spent some time going over the material we were going to study before the lesson.

I did the exercises in my conversation book together with my teacher, and then she read some passages and asked me to translate them into Japanese. Some of the passages I just didn’t understand, but overall I was quite pleased with my ability to understand them, especially as listening is my weak point.

I haven’t been studying as much as I need to these days. Must get back into the routine if I’m to have any chance of passing the exam in June.

Total study time: 45 minutes – Preview: 15 minutes, lesson: 30 minutes
