17th March 2020 – French

I did non-pronominal forms of pronominal verbs and “se” with impersonal expressions. I kind of get it. I also did the present participle. This made me realise just how important it is to learn and remember the different verb forms. To form the present participle, you drop the -ons ending from the nous form and add -ant. Simple enough. The trouble I had was that I hadn’t learnt all the verb forms.

I have the French Verb Review and Practice textbook to move on to when I’ve finished my current book, so I’m hoping that will help me. The practice exercise was using the present participle and “en”. I got most of the questions right, but still need more practice.
