I did around 30 practice questions for the skincare exam. So far so good – I got them all right. I’ll need to go through the textbook again though, because there is a lot which I have forgotten.

8th March 2020 – French
I struggled with motivation today. I did an hour Chinese then opened my French textbook, but just couldn’t concentrate. I realised I wasn’t going to get any active learning done (I have days like this), so I listened to my new Ondoku (read aloud) French book on repeat. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.

8th March 2020 – Chinese
I did lesson 29 from my workbook today. It was a review of the preposition “li”, the word “comparatively” and “bu neng” to say one can’t do something, and placement of question words.
I reviewed units 11 and 12 of my HSK level 3 textbook with the audio. This gave me a review of result complements, both verbs and adjectives. This is an important point in Chinese, so I’ll need to review it again.
