5th March 2020 – French

I moved on from pronouns and did comparisons and superlatives with adjectives, nouns and verbs. I’ll need to go over it again, but it was straightforward and I got most of the exercises right.

I copied out five pages of my test vocabulary dictionary – I’m seeing some of the patterns I’m studying in my main book in the examples, so it is good reinforcement.

I then used Easy French Reader to do some shadowing. I shadowed the first four lessons and the revision lesson, and then moved on to listening and reading to lesson five. I was pleased that I could understand it!

Total studying time: 1 hour – Grammar: 30 minutes, vocabulary: 15 minutes, shadowing: 15 minutes

5th March 2020 – Chinese

I did unit 26 from my workbook. I’ve got into the habit of studying the workbook daily. It’s good for me to review the language in the corresponding unit in the textbook from Beijing. This unit was about sickness, and asking someone to do something for you.

I then did units 5 & 6 from my HSK level 3 book with the audio. This also is good for reviewing, and makes me feel like I am working towards the test. It’s also giving me some much-needed listening practice.

Total study time: 1 hour – Workbook: 30 minutes, HSK book: 30 minutes
