I didn’t get much done, but I did find a site which explained ce qui and ce que in a way I understand. It says that the key is to look at what comes after – if it is a subject pronoun or a noun, you use ce que. If not, you use ce qui.
I think there might be different rules if a preposition is used, but I don’t want to get ahead of myself. Just learning the basic rules is enough for now.
I did 20 pages of vocabulary study to make up for not doing 10 pages yesterday. That’s about it. Tuesdays are busy days.
